About Survser
Survser is a customer and product research application that allows its users to create and deploy microsurveys within their digital products or websites. It supports various survey formats like NPS, CSAT, and custom surveys, aimed at collecting feedback and data from the users of the product. The app is designed to be simple to use, offering competitive pricing options, making it a cost-effective solution for gathering user insights.
My Role & Other Team Members
I started Survser by myself. After posting about it on Linkedin, I was approached by someone I knew who found the project interesting and wanted to get in. Now, I'm mainly taking care of product and tech, while I have a team of 3 people taking care of marketing and operations.
Why I built Survser
When I was working in the Product team at Holded, I recognized how important it was to have a solid understanding of customer needs. Collecting their opinions can be challenging, and microsurey tools can be a lifesaver. I recognized that most Microsurvey tools are really expensive and not really afforable for small- to medium sized projects. Also, I wanted to experiment with a new tech-stack.
Tech Stack
Sursver is a full stack Javascript application, built with NextJS. It's using MongoDB as it's database, and TailwindCSS for styling. Survser injects an embedded script into client's websites, which communicates with the backend and is written in plain Javascript.
Current Status
Survser is still in an early phase and we're trying to focus acquiring clients in the E-Commerce space, as it's not as saturated with microsurvey solutions as the SaaS space.
